About The Concrete Cutter 2014 Limited

Phillip and Catherine Chilton purchased The Concrete Cutter business from Gerrit and Kirstin Krul in November 2014.

Having been a part of ConcRetex Nelson since 2008 and purchasing the business in 2011 from parents Geoff and Adrianne Chilton, Phil has now expanded the scope of both businesses with the merger of the two. Both businesses have been locally owned and operated since the early 1990's.

Phil and Catherine are proud to be keeping both "The Concrete Cutter" and "ConcRetex Nelson" alive with both trading names remaining.

2018 - Nelson Vapour Blasting was introduced

2019 - Best Decorative Award - Highly Commended - New Zealand Concrete Contractors Association

2020 - Purchased John's Concrete Cutting

All existing staff from both businesses have stayed on and joined together to form a new team of concrete specialists in Nelson with a combined experience totaling nearly 100 years.
